As you know the reports in Jira are not that extensive as we would like.
Now, you have all kinds of plugins like eazybi and there are multiple powerbi connector plugins.
But seen as Jira has a rest api that can provide you with everything that you need you could use powerbi and talk to Jira directly without a plugin.
Being able to provide customers with a reporting mechanism that exceeds the capability of Jira's native reporting without any cost (powerbi desktop is free) would be a great advantage.
So, in my opinion, this is a nice added value towards your customers if you can create those kind of reports.
