Hello. I'm very new to Jira, and I'm looking into all the products available and I'm getting quite confused on what would be the best ones to integrate based on my requirements:
-I need to have forms (each with different set of fields) that would be available to external users (those without Jira licenses) to log tickets
-Each form submitted will be tantamount to one ticket
-Tickets are categorized based on the type of form that was submitted
-Nature of tickets ARE NOT limited to IT/Software Development (we are an operations team, so we attend to different kinds of work requests on a daily basis)
-Notifications should be made available once the tickets are updated, assigned or status changes happen
-All tickets logged are expected to be pooled in one database
So far, I have tried Jira Core, Software and Service Desk. I've explored each features and functions but I'm failing to understand how to tailor and integrate these, if that's even feasible. Throughout my trial and errors, I've been using the issue types to address my requirement of having several forms with different sets of customized fields.
