Hello,

In my JIRA default issue type scheme there were 2 columns Added issue types and Removed Issue type

I accidentally I added all issue type in "Default Issue Type scheme"? I could not see "Removed Issue Type" . How can i remove some of the issues from added issues.

What will happened if I do "Reset" which I could see at the end of the list.

Thanks in advance.DefaultIssueType.jpgDefaultIssueType_Reset.jpg

Hi @Amruta Pelapkar,

I hadn't seen the "Reset" button before, so I tried it in my Jira Cloud test instance to see what happens!  All it did was restore the issue type list, on the left, under the header "Issue Types for Current Scheme" to whatever the original default issue types were.

NOTE:  You cannot edit the "Default Issue Type Scheme".  It automatically contains ALL issue types.  Instead, to limit the issue types to a sub-set of the entire list, you'll need to create a custom issue type scheme.

For the scheme called "Default Issue Type Scheme" the default list of issue types are:

  • Epic
  • Story
  • Task
  • Sub-task
  • Bug

If you've created other custom issue types, they will be in the list as well.

For Jira Software and Jira Service Management, the defaults are:

  • Epic
  • Story
  • Task
  • Sub-task
  • Bug
  • [System] Incident
  • [System] Service request
  • [System] Service request with approvals
  • [System] Change
  • [System] Problem
  • New Feature
  • Support
  • Submit a request or incident
  • Ask a question
  • Emailed request
  • Incident
  • Service Request
  • Service Request with Approvals
  • Change
  • Problem

If you've created other custom issue types, they will be in the list as well.

Hope this helps!
