What's the best way to update Jira Core?

Everytime I try to download the upgrade, a screen comes up to purchase an installer.  I'm really new to this, so any input would be appreciated.

Hi Rebecca,

If you've already got a Jira license just download the installer using the free trial link. It's really the full installer, and your license will be automatically applied.

That warning used to scare me all the time. :)
