What other capabilities does the Plans feature have for us to use in Jira premium?

Right now, we currently have combined roadmaps that are pretty "blend". I am wondering if we can improve the visualization of the board view?

For example, if there are other options to:

1. Show dependencies better
2. Change colors of progress bars

There is a separate dependency section to list the issues (In views)

Color I believe it cannot be changed yet and we don't have customization as such.
