What level of administrative authority is needed to use CSV Importer in the JIRA Software Cloud

I have someone attempting to load their stories and tasks using the CSV Importer. They are Admins on their own board. Do they need Admin authority to entire company instance in order to run the importer?

Hi @[deleted]  

 

The board admin should be able to bulk import issues as long as they have the following

  • Create Issue project permission
  • and either the board admins themselves or the user group that they belong to is part of  Make bulk changes global permission.

The example shown by @Ben Friedman would work too but they are most likely used in more advanced scenarios and need jira admins help.
