Hi all,
I started getting this popup when I close all subtasks in a task. Has anyone else gotten this? Does anyone know why it suddenly started popping up? I didn't change anything...
Hello @deseymour
That popup appears because Jira is asking to update the parent task now that all its visible subtasks are completed. If you do not want to move the parent, just click Cancel. This is a built-in behavior, and there is currently no option to disable the prompt globally.
If this is triggering while some subtasks are still open, check your board filter. It might be hiding the remaining subtasks, causing Jira to mistake the work as finished.

Well, hmmm. I've never seen it before and have been using Automations to close the parent when the children are all closed. So, now when this pops up, if they say yes to close it, it errors out because the automation is doing it already. Is this something new?

Well, that is very weird. It has never popped up for us before yesterday. I wonder what happened to make it suddenly decide to start working for us...
