I would like to enable someone on our team to add/edit fixversions/releases in a Jira Software Project without having to give them full Project Admin privileges. Is this possible, and if so, what is the specific permission that they need to be given?
Hi @Shaun McGuire ,
unfortunately, Project Admin is exactly the permission they need.
Greetings
Philipp
Hi @Shaun McGuire , thanks for your post.
You have to be a project admin to be able to create and edit versions - https://support.atlassian.com/jira-cloud-administration/docs/permissions-for-company-managed-projects/ .
Unfortunately, there isn't really a workaround for this.
Best wishes

Hello @Shaun McGuire
You would need to configure the Resolve issues permissions in order to modify the Fix versions field.
