What is the purpose of the dashboard for company-managed projects?

I cannot filter company-managed projects using the filters, so how can I use the dashboard for anything useful if my projects are company-managed?

By the way, I prefer using company-managed projects because of the workspace setup we have. Tried using team-managed, but it is so limited that it does not even make sense using it.

Why can't you filter for company managed projects?  Are you not logged into Jira?  The only way to stop someone filtering for issues is if you remove their permission to see issues entirely, and even that does not stop people creating, running, and then using filters in dashboards.

Can you explain the problem a bit more?

    Hey Nic, 

It is fixed now. My guess is that for some reason some DB fields were not updated in my old projects (2017 and 2018) as Jira rolled out these TMPs. Back then there was only one project management system. All of the sudden all my old projects dissapeared from filters and only these team managed projects were showing up.  

I started updating permissions to these projects and revisiting the settings of them and out of the blue all the old projects appeared in the filter. 

The bad thing is that I don't know what triggered the change. The good thing is that now everything is visible.
