What is the maximum number of JIRA mail handlers polling a mailbox

Hi

We currently have 16 mail handlers that are polling out gmail mailbox which has several email aliases.

We have recently encountered an issue were not all emails are getting created as an issue in JIRA, is there a limit to the number of mail handlers polling a mailbox or a best practice?

We have been run a single mailbox with several aliases and several mail handlers polling it without any issues for a few years and have only started to encounter this issue.

I think you've hit your simultaneous connection limit for a gmail account... see IMAP simultaneous connections
