Hi @Patané ,

You could create a custom text field and make it required if you want to have a summary field with unlimited characters.

Description is not unlimited by default. Description is a long text that defaults to max 32767 characters. This is not editable in Jira Cloud but it can be maxed out to 2147483647 in Jira Data Center. If you want unlimited: set it to 0.
