What is the best way to batch edit tickets in a next gen project?

When I highlight a group of tickets in a next gen project, I do not see a way to edit like I would in a typical project. Is there a way to do this or is there a good work around?

If you create a filter of the tasks (issues) you want to edit, there will be an option to bulk change the issues.
