Hi,

what happens to users if I, as an admin, change the password policy?

I mean, what happens when I click "Update", as by the below picture?

Do users with poor passwords receive any kind of message requiring them to change it?

Thanks, Ciao, Andrea

Nothing happens for existing users (it can't - the passwords are not stored, so Jira cannot assess the "strength" of an existing password).

When someone creates a new account or changes their password, then the new rule will be enforced.
