What happened to edit in office feature?

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
When I lock a document to edit now, it says "Edit" rather than "Edit in Office" and I have to make edits through the Atlassian Companion App rather than directly through Microsoft Office. Is this a universal rollout or a glitch?
