I need to create reports in PowerPoint, or word, and/or email from our jira program boards and jira plans. What native capabilities does jira and rovo have to support that?
Currently, I export jira search results to csv files and then manually crest PowerPoint summary slides or I export and upload to Microsoft copilot.
Hi Eric,
It really starts with adequately defining what you want to see upfront with as much details as possible. I run into a lot of execs who just want something and want me to tell them what they need based on what's in the system. That's the cart before the horse. Really define what would be helpful to know to help you make decisions better. If that info is not in the system already, then work on getting it added first. On the flip side, never add fields and requirements for data gathering that you are not going to use in some way for reporting that leads to better decisions.
Thanks John. I am working on that now.

Essentially with ROVO you can create a variety of outputs including the slide decks Create AI-generated slides with Rovo | Confluence Cloud | Atlassian Support - and even make them match your corporate colors, style etc. You can try it for for your reports, just ask ROVO prepare various materalis and check the quality (never trust AI on data transformation!).
As John mentioned, however, it would be better set the requirements first, and then check what Jira can deliver. I would say almsot anything is possible if you'd use automation and ROVO, but the answer here is the more narrow, the more specific is the question, unfortuantely.

Thank you very much for the link! I am going to dive into this right now thanks to you. HAGD.

Did you try to ask Rovo or explain what you need to Rovo? If all data comes from Jira/Confluence Rovo will handle it.
Regards,
Seba

Yes thanks, I'm going to keep working with Rovo by working on my request and details of my request now that I've read responses from @Rustem Shiriiazdanov _Actonic_ and @John Funk . Thank you gents!
