What are the pre-requisites to creating a next-gen project?

What are the pre-requisites to creating a next-gen project? I don't see that option in the menu items. Thanks.

@Shawn_L_ - next-gen projects are only available for Jira Cloud. Are you using Cloud? Or are you using Jira Server/Data Center?

and if you are on Cloud and you do not see the image below then check w/ you admin as they may have it disabled.
