Hello @Ashish Sathyan

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

You could use Automation Rules to copy the Fix Version information from the parent issue to the subtask whenever that information is changed in the parent issue.

Note there are limitations on how many rule executions you can have each month. Review the information on those limits and determine if your instance would be at risk of hitting those limits with the addition of these Automation Rules.

@Trudy P Claspill Thank you for your response. Can you provide me step-by-step instructions on this or direct me towards the selections I need to make? JIRA.png

@Trudy P Claspill Thank you for sharing this article. Was Super Helpful!! Is there an article present wherein The fix version has to change automatically for Sub-tasks, Spikes under the EPIC, and Tasks?

Hello @Ashish Sathyan

If you are not able to extrapolate the solution based on what you learn from the post link I provided, then please start a new Question to get wider visibility in the Community. In the new Question

  1. explain the scenario you are trying to develop,
  2. if you referenced other posts to help you work on the solution then provide links to those posts,
  3. provide a full copy of any rules that you are currently using to try to accomplish that scenario
  4. explain how what you have is not working the way you expect and ask specific questions about the areas that you are struggling with
  5. provide the Audit Log details generated when the rule(s) executed.
