What additional capabilities does the Jira plugin provide for Jira users?

We’re currently reviewing this Jira plugin and want to understand the additional capabilities it brings for Jira users compared to Jira’s native features. The goal is to evaluate its practical value, including the problems it solves, the workflows it enhances, and how it fits into real-world Jira usage. Insights from users who have implemented or actively use the plugin would be especially helpful.

@Sonal Nagpal ,

Can you clarify what plugin/app you are considering/evaluating? The Atlassian marketplace has several thousand apps/plugins available for Jira so having a specific reference to which one you are evaluating would help!

@Dirk Ronsmans we have a product called Sinergify that integrates Salesforce and Jira. On the Jira side, we use a Jira plugin for bi-directional updates.
For Jira users, the plugin provides additional capabilities such as:
Creating Salesforce records from Jira, manually or automatically based on rules.
Bulk creation of Salesforce cases via CSV.
Searching, linking, and unlinking Salesforce records from Jira.
Viewing Salesforce record details, including comments, feed posts, and emails.

Hi @Sonal Nagpal

Jira native features can't do what Sinergify does.

You could create something similar using APIs, but in the end, it won't be the same.

I recommend checking the plugin documentation

https://docs.sinergify.com/
