What Is Missing From AI Team Collaboration Today?

Jira is making it much easier to assign work to AI agents and even coordinate multiple agents through workflows. But I’m wondering what happens beyond the Jira issue itself.

For me, an AI team collaboration platform should make it easy to:

• Give agents clear ownership of tasks
• Share context between agents and humans
• Let several agents work in parallel
• Track progress and handoffs
• Keep humans involved in review and decisions

I’ve been exploring Sharkly.ai, which takes an interesting approach by putting AI agents and human teammates into the same collaborative workflow.

For Jira teams already using Rovo or other coding agents, what part of AI collaboration still feels missing?

Is it task coordination, shared context, agent-to-agent communication, or human oversight?
