Webhook - Trigger on interactive session only

I am wondering if it is possible to prevent a Jira webhook from triggering on system updates. For example, I am sending comments from ServiceNow to a Jira issue but the webhook triggers and sends it back to ServiceNow.

On the ServiceNow side I can limit the triggering to interactive sessions only but I can't find an equivalent on the Jira side.

Any pointers would be gratefully received.

Jira webhooks have limited functionality, that's why I started to use Jira automation and it's action Send web request instead of it.

In the automation rule you can add various conditions under which circumstances the request should be send.

Thank you for confirming that.

I will take a look at Jira automation in that case. I am new to Jira and was only expecting to be configuring the ServiceNow side.
