WebDAV edit document failed FireFox 29 & IE 11

Has anyone seen issues with the The edit office documents feature in newer browsers? I'm seeing issues with FireFox 29 and IE 11 and Confluence 5.3.4. We have two problems

IE 11 produces a popup Stating "FireFox or IE required to use this feature"

Using FireFox 29 The usual warning pop-up dosen't appear. It appears to resolve flie and gets hung. Disablng the popup blocker dosen't help. Works correctly with FF 28

Suggestions any one?
