We need to have access to the time spent on each status of the workflow. There should be an excel report which will fetch me the time in status for each issue. Is it possible to get such a report via better excel?

Unfortunately, JIRA does not provide a source of information where you can use Better excel App to export the time spent for each status in each issue, however, we clearly understand how useful this feature would be.

That being said, we have the following feature request to get it implemented:

- Time In Source Status for each transition 

Feel free to vote and watch the suggestion to increase its priority and also receive notifications about any updates.

That being said, there are some other apps that provide you with that functionality in a clear view. Here are some options:

- Time in Status App 

- Time Reports App
