We are unable to sort on the Agile screen by rank

We are trying to display the issues in a project on the agile screen sorted by Rank and not by Jira ID. I understand the difference between what it displays and how it sorts but it is actually sorting by the Jira ID but we need it to sort by the rank in the project.

Can you help?
