We are having some doubts regarding Automation for jira

Actually only project admins or global admins will be able to edit rules what ever be created in project or global level rules. In our firm we work with crowd users. So who all can edit or create rules using crowd credentials. Like only jira-users only will be able to do that or people who ever present in developers groups are also will be able to edit rules. Kindly do let me know

Hi @Aravind Koushik Gobburu - Automation rule permissions are set as follows:

  • Global Automation - Jira Administrators
  • Project Automation - As defined by the Permissions Scheme - Administer Projects

Hope that helps
