Warnings in advanced roadmaps not shown, Show Warnings setting is on

Hi, I have no warnings shown in my advanced roadmaps. I played around and scheduled dependent (blocking) issues specifically to violate the order, still no warnings show. No Warning center on top. Warnings setting and the View setting is on.

What might be going wrong?

E.g. issue EG-1653 is blocked by issue EG-1726, but even when I pick target end way before the EG1726 finishes, no warning appears

i am curious to learn the root cause. some of our users are facing the same issue. The warning button shows up as glowing but there are no warning signs against the issues. is the plan corrupted. We are on Jira Cloud instance - recently migrated from Data center 3 months ago. 

The plan was created recently and has warnings button on but none of the issues below show warnings!
