Warning Affects versions: Affects versions is required. When I try to create an issue in a project called KVMA is works fine however when I try create other projects Blackrock & Klasos T get the warning and the issue won't create. Both KVMA & Blackrock & Klasos use the same JIRA Screen.
Hi @Nick Leone
Welcome to the Atlassian Community!
It is possible that the field "Affects versions" has been set as required in the Field Configuration for the other projects. Can you please review that once ?
Using JIRA Admin I checked the 2 field config schemes "Scrum default field configuration" (the unaffected 'Create' project uses this) and "Parent issueType Field Configuration" (the affected 'Create' project uses this). They both set to Required and everything seems the same.

Thank you for confirming Nick, by any chance are you using Team Managed Project ? If yes, can you compare if Releases feature is enabled in working and non-working project.
Also, I would like to confirm if you are receiving this message only during the creation of a new issue and not during a workflow transition (e.g., from To Do to In Progress). The reason for this inquiry is that administrators may have configured a validator on the workflow transition.

Ok great, and are you using the same Issue Type in working and non-working project or different ?
