Want to restrict components to an issue type

I have multiple components in my project. I want to show only few components out of those based on some condition to an issue type. Is that possible through behavior? 

Managing select list is possible, but I need  help with controlling options that appears on an issue type and I don't want to show all the components but only few.

Hi,

I understand you are looking to restrict the components that can be selected based on the issue type.  Natively, Jira can't manage this, but I believe it could be possible with several different possible addons to Jira.
