Want to know about project migration from one instance to another

When migrating a single project from one JIRA instance to another another .Do we need to have all the Add ons in both the instances,even if it was not used by that project.

You do not need to have the same add-ons, but the import will drop the settings from the add-ons if you don't have them in the target system.

Which means the adds on should be available in target as well as destination instance even if it is not used in the project.

Hi @Manoj Nambiar

When you migrate, all the user-installed add ons, that are being used in the project, has to be in the other JIRA instance. You can refer the below links for all the information you need to migrate one project.
