Want to know about a feature about data download

Suppose If I am using a JIRA , and somehow my license end with JIRA . ANd I want to download project with attached document so that further I will have all the document with me. 

 

PLease suggest us,

Problem here would be that any backup from Jira would result in a data file that is only restorable to Jira and isn't really user friendly to read on it's own.

The good thing is that if you are on Server (not DC) you can always keep the system active even after your license expires (you just won't get any updates anymore). If you require access to the data at a later point in time you might be better of exporting the data to PDF/CSV to keep it readable.

Also if you take a backup now (Database and data folder (that has your attachments)) you can always install a Datacenter trial version later and restore that DB (just make sure it's the same version as you had)

If it's really for readable use after the export I'd look in to things like pdf's or excel files to keep the data more user friendly
