Want to Schedule by Sprint Dates from Plans Timeline

I have configured a Plan based on a board filter.  I am seeing everything based on hierarchy of Initiative/Portfolio Epic/Epic/Story - which is exactly as I am expecting.

I want to be able to plan in the timeline view by SPRINT and not simply start/due date.   

My observations:  If I change the story to a particular sprint and refresh the timeline, it reflects properly.   If I move the item in the timeline and save changes, it alters the start/due which I see in the story details.

When I change the sprint on that story, the timeline goes by start/due date again until I clear them from the story.

@Terry Thomas You could try Auto-Schedule your plan work items and overwrite all values with the Sprint, see screenshot below.
