Voting on an issue

Hello,

I am figuring out if it is possible to vote on issues by team members. I found this page but is does not seem to apply to my configuration.

Using Jira Software cloud, kanban project, next gen project.

I dont see any vote related options in a an issue (tried Task as well as Story)

But... So in order to use the voting functionality, I have to use a classic project? That is a major disadvantage...

Next-gen doe st currently support voting. The page you referenced is for server which doesn’t support next-gen. Voting is supported for classic projects.
