If you use Advanced Roadmaps / Plans and work with sprints, there's a feature request worth your vote right now:
π JRACLOUD-98061 β Add dedicated Sprints row to Plans timeline
The ask is simple: bring the sprint lane to the Plans timeline, just like it already exists in the board/project Timeline view. Right now, Plans shows releases along the top and issue bars across the view β but there's no way to see sprint boundaries at a glance. You have to infer timing from issue dates or context-switch to individual board timelines. At the multi-team, multi-project level, that's a real gap.
Having sprint windows visible directly on the Plans timeline β alongside releases β would make cross-team planning significantly clearer. No more guessing whether work aligns with sprint cadence. No more jumping between views.
This ticket is currently in "Gathering Interest", which means the vote count is exactly what determines whether Atlassian reviews it. With 12 votes today, it's close β a coordinated push from people who actually work this way day-to-day could move it to the next stage.
Before Atlassian spends more cycles tweaking how existing things look π , let's signal what's actually missing . If this gap affects your planning workflow, take 30 seconds and vote.
Many thanks in advance β and if they actually ship this, I think we owe ourselves a drink π₯
I like this idea, thanks for pointing it out @Vanessa Mouriz
I went ahead and voted also.
