In the old Jira it was possible to show the life span on a story directly on the board.
Now I can't find it. Does this stil exist? If so, where can I find it.
If not, how could I make the life span visible?
Thanks in advance!
Edgar
When you enable Days in column you’ll see a series of dots on each work items to represent the number of days it’s been in that column.
Steps:
Next to your board’s name in the sidebar, select more actions (•••), then Board settings.
Expand Layout in the sidebar, then select Card layout.
Add or delete fields as desired.
You can also enable Days in column to visually indicate how long a work item's in a column. This helps identify slow moving work.

Hi @Eggert
Welcome to the Community !
Days in columns is in cloud as well; you can refer to your board config -> Layout -> Card Layout -> Days in column.

Hi @Eggert ,
If you would navigate to board settings > Card layout, there's a toggle for "Days in column" which would display visual indicator on item cards in the board as those little dots which change colors based on number of days in column.
You can read more about this feature here.
Not sure if that's what you were aiming for, but I hope it helps.
Cheers,
Tobi
