I am finding the following error in the portfolio for some of the epics. The error is as below:-
"Violation in dependency.
A required work item could not be scheduled."
1) What are the criteria for throwing such an error? Is there a checklist to refer to?
2) Re: "Scheduled end" date field. For some epics, I am seeing that the due date which is manually entered is much earlier than the scheduled end date calculated by Jira, hence the question. Assume it takes into consideration other factors like dependencies, velocity, but not sure of the actual logic. Please advise what is the logic to derive the same, as I can see it is derivable column.
