Viewing child issues in sidebar when viewing from parent sidebar

Within the timeline or kanban board of a project, I click on an epic and all the information is displayed on the sidebar as expected. When trying to view the child issues it will go to a new page rather than changing what is displayed on the sidebar.

Most of my coworkers on the same platform and project have it so it changes the sidebar instead of a new window but no one knows why its one way for some but not others. Is there a personal setting hidden away somewhere I am not seeing?

Hello @RR

From which location are you and your coworkers clicking on the child issue; 1 or 2?

If I click on 1, then the issue opens in the sidebar. If I click on 2, the issue opens in a new tab.
