We have created a summary dashboard for our executive across our organization. He'd like to share the top level of the dashboard with some team members, however he wants them to see a view only version of the dashboard.
We've played with existing permissions on the Filters and on the dashboard, but even with View access, they're still able to click on the results and be taken to the filter or the tickets making up the results.
Anyone know a way to build a view only version of a dashboard that could be called up at will, just like a dashboard can, but without the ability to drill into the data?
I don't believe that is possible. The whole idea of the Dashboard is to put a group of information easy to fine and summarize. For a while we were required to put the Dashboard view MS word report. We used the snipit tool to take a picture of the board and put it in the report. It won't be interactive, but you can do the same and send it to management. The only reason I can see you want this is because some of the content is sensitive or classified and the don't have the clearance to see the details.
