Version for system plugin 'Tempo Core' different for different Jira instances with same Jira version

On different jira instances with the same version there is a system plugin 'Tempo Core' which has a different version number for each of the instances. How can this plugin be updated to the same version for all the jira instances.

The different plugin versions give problems when importing projects from one instance to the other (using projectconfigurator).

The core plugin should normally be updated when Timesheets, Plans or Budgets are updated.

When it happened on my last job, we installed and reinstalled the Tempo plugins. This won't remove or change any of the Tempo app data.
