Version Picker custom field ordering

Does anyone knows how to make the "Version Picker" custom field list the "Unreleased versions" at the top (like it is in "Fix Version/s' system field)?

I'm using JIRA v5.0, and it lists the "Released versions" at the top.

I would like it to function like "Fix version/s", not like "Affects Version/s".

Unfortunately, you will have to update the JIRA source templates for this. For both requirements!
