I am using a custom column for "Assignee Field" and I noticed that some issues in a 6-week-old sprint that were not updated correctly for that field. I updated them but the values don't seem to be propagating to the report. How do I fix this?
Hi,
Velocity charts are based on the sprint snapshot at the time the sprint was completed. Updating the Assignee (or any custom assignee field) afterward will not recalculate or change the report. Velocity is team-based and driven by completed story points, not by assignee.
Unfortunately, historical sprint data cannot be updated retroactively in standard Jira reports. If corrected reporting is required, you would need a custom reporting tool (e.g., eazyBI) or handle it outside Jira.
I was using the "individual" tab as well as the "cross-team" tab. The "Individual" has the problem. Ok, thanks. I will need to remember to check everything before closing the sprint.

Hi @Brian Black ,
Are you using the native Velocity Report? If so, as far as I know, it doesn't allow customization of columns nor assignee column.
Best regards,
Alexey
