Validation to require Parent EPIC on Issue creation

Is there a way to validate that the reporter has added a parent epic to an issue (Story or Defect (bug) when they are creating them?

Hello, Good day. You can try adding "Epic link"/"Parent" field to the issue creation transition in workflow.
