Validating pre-populated comment field

Hi all,

In my transition screen, I have pre-populated the comment field. Is there a way to validate if the comment field has any changes? Any ideas?

The history tab in the detailed issue view should show edited I would think.

You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
