Validate field value against the field value of other ticket/issue

Hi,

Is there any plugin to validate a field value from one issue to some other field value of different ticket.  

Or any script from script runner to validate fields from different issues (may not be linked issues)

With Jira Expressions, it is possible to load an issue by its key. So, if there are no other relationships involved, this can be used within a workflow validator. Could you share a bit more about your use case and whether a validator would be sufficient?

Can you provide more details about your scenario?

When do you want the validation to occur?

What is the relationship between the issues? If there is no link between them, how would you tell Jira which issue to use for validation?
