Using rest/api access Jira using Oauth 2.0 authentication

We want to be able to access Jira using the rest api with having to use a User Name/password.  It would be an external script that would be accessing jira to get information.  Do you know how I could set that up?

Dear @Nannette Mori ,

unfortunately, OAuth 2.0 is yet not implemented. You have to use 1.0a.

Follow this link for a description.

So long
