Use rank independent in two different boards | same project

 

is it possible to use rank in 2 different boards in the same project where the rank of both projects is not depending from each other?

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Rank is a global value for an issue. If you have three issues in a project ranked as

Issue 1

Issue 2

Issue 3

...then in any board where any combination of those issues appear their rank in that board will be the same. You cannot have them ranked as above in one board and then, for example ranked as follows in another board:
