Using batched notifications together with existing velocity templates

Hi Community,

I am experimenting with batched notifications. On a plain Jira instance with almost no customization it works - perfect.

On another instance we rely heavily on handcrafted velocity templates which are wired to custom events in several workflows and notification schemes.

Basic question: are they supposed to work when batched notifications are switched on (first tests seem to show this is not the case...)?

Goal would be to have

• the nice feature of batching for Issue Created, Issue Updates, ... events
• and the heritage way of delivering mails with our existing velocity templates using custom events same time.
