Using AD groups

Hi,

I would like to know how to setup JIRA so that we do all our user management in Active Directory. I would like to setup 3 AD groups for JIRA and map these to the user, developer and administrator groups in JIRA without having to maintain users within the system, is this possible? I have looked at it breifly (this is my first experience with the software) and can get AD authentication working but i still have to create the user within the application.

I'm sure Im missing something simple, but thought this was the best place to ask :)

Looks like you have setup delegated authentication. Can you try this?

You can have users, groups and memberships in AD.
