Hi everyone,

I am the admin for our Jira instance and I need some help restoring access for my team.

We are a small team of 7 users. Since the Jira Free plan allows up to 10 users, we fall well within the limit. However, over the last few weeks, I accidentally activated and then deactivated a couple of paid plans/trials.

All of those deactivated plans officially expired today. Since they expired, none of my 7 users can see or access the project portal anymore.

I assumed the site would automatically roll back to the default Free plan once the paid trials ended, but it seems the Free plan is not active, and the instance is locked.

How can I manually force the system to downgrade back to the Free plan so my users can continue working?

Thanks in advance for the help!

Hi @Govinda Sarkhel ,

Welcome to the Community!  You should be able to adjust the plan you are within Administration > Billing > (select Manage for the product you wish to change) > Change Plan.

Here you should have the option to chose the plan you want to use for your Jira instance if it is different from the plan you wish.

Could you test that and see if that will help you resolve your issue?

Best,
Andy
