User functionality Access

Deleted user January 11, 2019

I have created a NexGen Kanban project, and added members to it.
They can access the project and interact with the backlog and board.
When the click on the ellipses"..." for a card, there is no option for deleting the car (like I see)

I elevated their access permission from basic to Trusted, and it's not helping either.

Is the Delete option only available to the administrator group, or is this a bug with NexGen project, or am I doing something wrong?

Thank you in advance!

@[deleted] Please refer to this Atlassian documentation on default roles and their permissions in a Next-Gen project:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwarecloud/overview-of-permissions-in-next-gen-projects-959283605.html

I think, as per above document, if your project users are added to "Administrator" role, they should be able to delete issues (if that is required for users, not recommended though)

Also, as per default JIRA functionality, a user needs to be a JIRA administrator or Board Administrator, to be able to customize cards on a board.
