User-based billing for third party apps

Hi everyone,

I recently came across this post on the Atlassian Developer site about user-based billing for Forge apps.

I just want to make sure I understand it correctly:
Is it now possible to purchase app licenses that apply only to specific users in Jira (rather than for all licensed Jira users), at least for some third-party apps? Or are all paid apps still required to be licensed for the entire Jira user base?

This is not possible currently. There is a feature request to implement this in future: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/MP-88

Hi @Simon Kolivand 

As far I know you app license based on your Jira license and you can't buy lower tier.
