User accidentally clicked to turn off notifications. How can they turn them back on?

A client of ours accidentally clicked to turn off email notifications when comments are made on a ticket. Is there a way for them to turn these notifications back on?

I presume you are referring personal settings as user turned off accidentally, could you please check this Atlassian support article - https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/manage-your-jira-personal-settings/  ?
